Directions & Parking
Park in the Wentworth Car Park and walk up Hallgate. Hallgate is the lane leading uphill towards the central marketplace from behind the Wentworth Café which is at the South end of the car park. We are on the left halfway up the bank. You can’t drive up Hallgate from the car park. Parking bays marked in red paint allow you two hours parking. Parking bays marked in blue paint allow you four hours parking. You will need a parking disc for red or blue bays. White bays are all day parking and do not require a parking disc. The white bays are often all occupied. Parking discs are available from the Wentworth leisure centre which is next to the car park for £1. Any parking disc will do, you do not have to use a locally
Those of you with mobility issues may wish to park in the car park behind Beales department store at the top of Hallgate. It is accessed from the central
marketplace. The parking behind Beales is limited and can be busy, you may need to wait for a space to become available. It is pay and display and has a maximum stay of 3 hours. The first hour is free and then it costs 40p per hour.
